Brian Scott Earns 10th Top-10 Finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Brian Scott and the No. 2 Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff Chevrolet Camaro qualified for the Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the 10th position. Scott battled inside the top-10 for the majority of the 100-lap event at the historic track. Strategy was the name of the game for the players in the Nationwide Series. Scott was loose off of turn one and fought a tight-handling race car as long green-flag runs went on. On the final restart of the event, Scott was scored in the 11th position and gained four positions when he took the checkered flag finishing seventh. Scott’s finish secured his position in the final Nationwide Insurance Dash 4 Cash program at Iowa Speedway next week.

“Our Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff Chevrolet was really fast. We had a great Camaro and my guys worked really hard all weekend. Unfortunately, our strategy didn’t play out into our hands. It will one of these days. I’m extremely happy for Ty Dillon and the entire No. 3 Nationwide team on their victory at Indianapolis. It’s a really special win for them.”
